Updating Temporary Items

It's important to understand the distinction between updating temporary items and updating items that are no longer considered to be stored in a temporary location. Temporary items are those items not yet checked into permanent storage locations. Users with the Add Item Only status are only allowed to update items that are still in a temporary state. Once checked into permanent storage, modification is no longer an option. If modification to an item is necessary, an Add Item Only user must go to the My Items tab on the Quick Menu to make the changes.

Items on the My Items tab are either Temporary or Active. The screen shot above shows (4) items that are still temporary and (4) items that are now active and no longer temporary. To make a modification to any items simply click the temporary icon on the far left. This option will take you to a page where modification of information is possible.
