Agency Setup
From TrackerProducts Wiki
>> Quick Menu Tab > Agency Setup
This feature is primarily intended for customers that use more than one office to store items. Many clients, like the State Highway Patrol, have offices across the state. Others have several agencies across the country or around the world. Although items may be stored at many different facilities, they often need to be accessed from other facilities. It's not always necessary to be in the same building or even country where the item is stored to track its details.
Not all organizations with multiple storage areas, however, need to setup their tracking software with multiple agencies. If a police example has an off-site storage area as an extension of the main storage, it should be considered another location instead of another agency. That off-site storage is simply an extension of the main storage facility. Some organizations have offices in different geographic regions, but there's no need to separate the facilities in the system. As long as all users can access all items, the most efficient way to setup this system would be utilizing one agency.
The determination of whether or not your organization should use multiple agencies depends on location AND the need to differentiate access to items between users.
Single Agency

Multiple Agencies
In a situation where multiple offices or storage locations are involved AND user access should be based on those locations, this page will be used to setup those offices or locations or modify the information listed for any agency.
In agency setup you will enter each facility that is part of the whole group. The first screen in agency setup will show information for the default or main facility. This will allow you to modify the current information or you can click the Add Agency tab (shown above) to enter more facilities. If you click the Agency Setup icon on the Quick Menu and only see one tab, your system is not setup for multiple facilities. This example system is setup for multiple facilities because the Add Agency tab is present. If you click this button it will allow you to add as many facilities as your license allows.
